I get the mental image of someone being able to shoot lazers out of their hands. This is much better than any image that "atomic power" could conjure. 1000 points for being awesome.

Not only is the word "swa" great on its own, but you get to say it twice.
English: Time for blood-letting!
Anglo-Saxon: Blodlæstid!
I'll just assume that everyone appreciates the awesomeness of "blodlæstid" and that I don't need to explain it.
English: (said dramatically) What?!
Japanese: (said dramatically) Nani?!
I think the repetition of the "n" coupled with the difference between this "a" and "i" vowel sounds is what makes this one so nice.

English: Forbidden
German: Verboten
I almost added this, but decided that I like the English sound of "forbidden" more both because it is a transliteration from Anglo-Saxon and when broken down to its composite words (for-bidden) leaves considerable room for a modern American imagination. Also, the word's soft sounds seem to subvert the word's meaning. To me, the word "forbidden" does not actually sound that forbidding. "Verboten" gets points for sounding harsh and therefore (possibly) bordering on the onomatopoetic. I think it is also the funnier of the two. All in all, I still like "forbidden"
