Am I the only one who does this?

Sometimes when I am writing a paper and I've hit a wall or am not pleased with my argument, I'll write the worst possible sentence I can think of in the style of a 4th grade book report and then erase it. I think I do it because anything I write afterwards will be better than what I just wrote.
