Crazy People Part 3

I was walking to Loblaw's the yesterday and noticed this guy riding on his bike on the other side of the street. I'm not sure how to really describe how he was dressed. He looked like the sort of grungy person who is riding a bike to "fight the man," if that means anything. He had some weird pole thing that he was trying to carry on the back of the bike, but he was carrying it horizontally, which seemed like a bad idea. He and I hit the crosswalk at the same time and he started coming over to my side of the street. As he was riding over he shouted something in French followed by "YOU LOOK LIKE A SPANISH CONQUISTADOR, YOU #$&@&%@%@&#$!" The only other person there was a little old Asian lady crossing in front of him, so I suppose if he had to accuse one of the two of us of looking like a Spanish conquistador, by default it would have had to have been me. I, however was dressed in jeans with a tee-shirt and a jacket, so I still have no idea what on earth he was talking about. Though, like I said, he was not giving off the vibe of someone who goes around making much sense. He rode off and is now immortalized on my blog as a crazy person.
