Pluses and Minuses to taking classes with world experts

+: Sometimes this particular world expert has published translations and editions of the texts he thinks are necessary to study his subject. The student therefore only needs to buy two or so books for this class and the professor's name is on the cover.

- : Sometimes this particular world expert has not gotten around to publishing translated editions, necessitating the student get 40+ books from the library over the course of a semester. Luckily many of these books are in course reserves. Unluckily there are 10 other students in the class and the most important library is only open until 6pm.

Sad panda.

Would I be correct in guessing you missed out on getting one or some of said books?
